🛠 What are daily duties for an Engineering Manager at Depict?
We believe in servant leadership and self-management - We only hire top developers so your mission will be to facilitate, align and protect them from interruptions, remove barriers and obstacles so that the team can work as smooth as possible.
You are working with best practices and is to some extent the stakeholder for your team when meeting with leadership, sales and custom experience requests.
In a team of stellar developers - you are also bringing the business value of what the team is building having a clear vision in the intersection of tech and business juggling tradeoffs between iteration speed and complexity of custom integrations and one-size-fits-all.
💎Who you are:
We are looking for someone experienced in the Stockholm startup environment and leadership. You like people and are keen on taking on both leadership and responsibility. Most of our developers have a computer science degree - and even if this role is not a hands-on coding

In just a matter of months we, a small team of engineers in Stockholm, have been changing the playing field for recommendation systems in e-commerce – a gigantic market where our competitors are among the largest tech companies to find. And this is just the beginning – we see a path of immense growth ahead of us. As for the next steps, we are starting to look at our international expansion to get Depict.ai into larger markets outside of Sweden – if you are up for a ride of a lifetime, this is your new home!
